A big thank you to IDBS who have donated 5 laptops to help disadvantaged children access education during the COVID pandemic. This is what Charlotte Hayden from IDBS had to say:
“When the email came through from the team at the recruitment consultancy, I couldn’t help but want to get involved in helping those that are less fortunate in this current situation. As a team, IDBS has identified how much of a struggle it has been for parents in managing home schooling, however, as a software company, we hadn’t thought of it from a perspective that children may not have access to the technology they may need to keep up with their school work.
If by donating our old laptops, we could stop parents worrying and help children in achieving their dreams while they are home schooling then we are pleased to be a small part of that. We hope to continue this going forward and thank Sharon Ellis for sharing such a great initiative.”
