Our client is looking for an additional team player to join their small but rapidly growing organisation on a permanent basis. This would suit an articulate and numerate individual, looking for a challenging and fast paced role, where communication is key. Previous experience as a financial controller or bookkeeper would be advantageous or a relevant qualification such as AAT or ATT.

This is a hybrid role, offering an annual performance related bonus scheme, 25 days holiday and free onsite parking. The hours will be 37.5 per week, with flexibility on start and finish times.

You will be establishing relationships with your portfolio of clients, to ascertain their eligibility for tax credits in relation to their research and development of new products. You will gather essential information to enable you to compile a detailed report to send to HMRC, which will include relevant figures and calculations, so attention to detail is critical.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written, and should have a head for figures. Due to nature of the business, you will need great time management skills, be comfortable working under pressure and working to tight deadlines. A calm and methodical approach to your work is essential, as you will be juggling many tasks at one time.
