A fantastic opportunity has come up with a highly respected and professional company based in Hove. They are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administrator to join their busy office team.
As the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls, you’ll play an important role in creating a professional and welcoming environment. The role is varied, fast-paced and requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
The role:
You’ll provide high-level administrative support, including audio typing formal documents, proofreading and formatting content to a professional standard, and helping to keep the office running smoothly.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for telephone calls and visitors
- Audio type reports, letters, emails and other formal documents
- Proofread and format correspondence with strong grammar and layout accuracy
- Organise and prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines
- Work closely with a supportive and professional team
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other systems with confidence
The ideal candidate:
- Proven administrative experience in a busy office environment
- Fast and accurate typing skills, including audio typing
- Excellent English grammar, spelling and document formatting
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Confident communicator and reliable team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
