This local charity is looking for a capable, friendly and versatile administrator to join their busy HR team. Working 35 hours per week, the role will encompass a broad range of duties so no 2 days will be the same. You will be fully supported by the HR Team Lead and training will be given where needed.
You will be supporting with payroll & HR admin, as well as looking after all aspects of the facilities management. You will be responsible for preparing the payroll data, ensuring it is accurate prior to processing and will handle any payroll queries from staff and management. The HR administration will include dealing with holiday allowances, sickness deductions and you will assist all departments with any recruitment. As well as maintaining all health & safety documentation, you will also ensure all risk assessments are up to date and all policies and procedures are in line with current regulatory requirements. You will have responsibility for the maintenance of all general office equipment and will ensure there are adequate supplies of office consumables. There will also be some minuting of meetings and typing up of action points for any board and committee meetings.
Ideally you will have previous relevant experience, however training will be provided. This is a fast- paced role, so you will need to be comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines. Attention to detail is critical along with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. You will need to be IT literate with MS Office and understand the importance of confidentiality. A positive attitude and helpful manner are also essential.
