This is a lovely opportunity to join a local charity in an admin support role within their HR team. Working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, the role offers hybrid working with 27 days holiday and many other benefits.
You will be supporting HR with a variety of tasks including monthly payroll preparation, maintaining HR and general office admin systems, assisting with grievances and disciplinaries, responding to staff queries and preparing standard letters, contracts and new starter packs. You will also coordinate the health & safety documentation, manage the office supplies, assist with preparation for meetings and provide secretarial support to senior staff.
Ideally you will have previous experience working within an HR function, have excellent attention to detail and a good working knowledge of MS Office 365. You should be able to maintain confidential information and be able to deal with sensitive matters discreetly. This is a pivotal role within the business so you will need to have a friendly, confident manner and be happy to help out wherever needed
