Our client is on the lookout for a proactive Resource Technician to support the day-to-day operations of their 3 divisions. If you’re ready to be part of a dedicated, hands-on team, this could be the role for you.
Key responsibilities:
Working closely with the Resources Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and organising equipment, logistics, and facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with inventories and routine equipment inspections across the fleet vehicles
- Prepping training areas and classrooms
- Travelling to site when needed to deliver or swap out equipment
- Managing consumables, PPE, and equipment use and reorders
- Tracking equipment maintenance and service schedules using asset management software
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and fleet vehicles
- Decontaminating PPE and managing air cylinder refills
- Liaising with suppliers and handling deliveries
- Raising purchase orders in line with finance procedures
- Supporting the head office and wider teams as required
- Contributing to continuous improvement across processes and workspace organisation
You’ll also be expected to train as a First Aider, and potentially support with other compliance-related duties.
Key requirements:
- Self-motivated, resilient, and proactive
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A good communicator and logical thinker
- Confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experienced (or willing to train) in using Sage 50 Accounts and asset management tools
- Comfortable working independently and within a team
- Flexible, with a solutions-focused mindset and willingness to adapt
Previous experience in a similar role or environment is a bonus, but training and development opportunities will be provided.
