Key responsibilities:

  • Account management: Nurture and grow existing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities
  • Business development: Identify and engage potential clients, book face-to-face meetings, and uncover business needs through targeted outreach
  • Sales support: Collaborate with senior team members, prepare tailored pitches, and track sales activities in CRM systems
  • Reporting: Share insights from client feedback, market trends, and sales activities to drive strategy and improvement

Key skills:

You will thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience in the IT or business solutions sector — or a real interest in learning the industry coupled with a desire to progress
  • Previous success in account management or business development
  • Strong communication skills with a professional manner
  • Good organisational skills and are confident using CRM systems
  • A proactive attitude — you enjoy building relationships and uncovering new opportunities
  • A full UK driving licence (client visits are part of the role)
