Our client is a growing organisation operating across the UK and internationally.

As their business continues to expand, they are looking for a proactive and highly organised Business Support Administrator to support day-to-day operations and help drive efficiency across the company.

The role:

This is a key position providing administrative and operational support across several areas. You will manage daily office tasks, communicate with clients, arrange travel, assist with tenders and help maintain compliance with industry standards and accreditations. You’ll be confident working independently, using your initiative to solve problems and keep processes running smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

Administration:

• Manage emails and client communications
• Book jobs and schedule work for engineers
• Update daily labour schedules
• Arrange travel, flights and accommodation for UK and international projects
• Maintain staff training records and certification matrices
• Prepare and issue onboarding documents for new starters

Finance and invoicing:

• Check supplier invoices and prepare payment forms
• Assist with payroll preparation and maintain financial records

Compliance and accreditations:

• Maintain and update industry accreditations
• Support the process of achieving new accreditations

International travel and compliance:

• Assist with visa and work permit applications
• Manage documentation for overseas projects including France and Norway

Business support:

• Assist with tenders and bids
• Carry out general office duties as required

About you:

• Highly organised, with the ability to manage your workload independently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident using initiative and solving problems proactively
• Experienced in office administration, email management and scheduling
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems
• Experience with tenders, compliance or industry accreditations is an advantage
