This is a 3-month contract for an Individual Giving and Legacy Officer who will play a key role in shaping and delivering individual giving, legacy and in-memory fundraising activity. In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of engaging supporter campaigns — including the charity’s flagship Christmas appeal and develop tailored journeys to maximise engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality legacy marketing and supporter engagement campaigns
- Lead on the planning and delivery of multi-channel cash appeals.
- Develop and manage mid-value and in-memory giving programmes
- Use supporter insight and data segmentation to improve engagement and ROI
- Manage external agencies and collaborate effectively across teams
- Line manage and support the Public Fundraising Admin Assistant
About you:
We’re looking for someone who brings a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on delivery skills. You’ll have:
- Demonstrable experience managing successful individual giving or direct marketing campaigns
- Strong copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage
- Excellent project management and analytical skills
- Empathy and sensitivity when engaging with bereaved or health-affected supporters
- A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
Experience in legacy fundraising or supporter retention programmes would be an advantage.
