Our client, a fast-growing manufacturing and engineering business, is looking for a Sales Order Processing & Internal Sales Coordinator to join their friendly, close-knit team.

This is a key operational role at the heart of the order process, ensuring customer orders are managed accurately and efficiently from sales through to production and dispatch. It’s a role for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Process customer orders from receipt through to invoicing with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Liaise with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Logistics to ensure smooth order flow.
• Check technical and commercial details before production begins.
• Keep customers informed with confirmations, timelines and order updates.
• Maintain accurate records of parts, pricing and quantities.
• Support invoicing and payment tracking during staff absences.
• Identify opportunities to improve communication and processes.
• Assist the internal sales and operations teams to keep workflows efficient.
About you:
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.
• Confident working with data, numbers and part codes.
• Clear and professional communicator with customers and colleagues.
• Calm under pressure, organised and adaptable when priorities shift.
• Proactive and hands-on, with a focus on getting things right.
• Experience with order processing, ERP systems or in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Any understanding of technical or electronic products would be an advantage.
