Our Client, is seeking an experienced and proactive Events Manager to join their close-knit team. In this role, you will support the General Manager by overseeing the planning and execution of all meetings and events at the venue. From initial concept through to delivery, you will ensure every detail is handled to the highest standards, maintaining outstanding customer service and attention to detail. You will serve as the first point of contact for the events team, managing budgets, addressing facilities issues, and ensuring health and safety compliance across all events.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all stages of event management, from planning through to delivery.
Develop and manage budgets for each event, optimising resources to meet financial targets whilst maintaining standards.
Ensure that all events comply with health and safety regulations, conducting checks and addressing any issues promptly.
Respond to any facilities-related issues that arise at the venue.
Maintain and build relationships with suppliers.
Serve as a main point of contact for the events team, ensuring clear communication with clients and delivering outstanding customer service throughout the event lifecycle.
Proactively seek opportunities to grow the business, introducing innovative ideas to enhance services and attract new clients.

Key Skills and Requirements

Proven experience in event management, preferably in a hospitality or venue setting.
Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Budget management expertise with an understanding of financial planning.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for business growth.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
