Seminar – Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace

Date:  Wednesday 8th November 2023

Time:  9.00am to 11.00am

Venue:  Guildford Pavilion

Speakers:

Person looking anxious who may be needing support

**According to recent research by The UKG Workforce Institute, almost 70% of people say their manager has more impact on their mental health than their therapist or doctor. In fact, the impact is rated as equal to that of their partner**

As an HR professional or leader, you would be right to find this data sobering.

Mental health has become a critical topic of discussion, and rightly so.  But, while therapy and medical professionals play a significant role in supporting individuals’ mental well-being, this recent research has clearly turned the spotlight on an unexpected influence…managers.

With the main risk to health being physiological, we must understand that it is not the only risk and the wellbeing of our employees hangs in the balance between mental health, physical health and financial health.

With this in mind, how well prepared are your managers to successfully support the mental well-being of their team members?

Join Steve, Liz, and Sarah as they demonstrate the importance of how proactive and timely intervention by your managers will help to create a nurturing and positive work environment for all your employees, especially those who are experiencing mental health challenges.

To request your place, please complete the form below.  We look forward to seeing you there!

(Please note: a light breakfast will be provided from 9.00am with the session starting at 9.30am.  The finish time is approximate.)
