Our Client are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their small and friendly team. You will become the focal point of their in-house accounting operations. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in their growing business while advancing your accounting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Take full responsibility for processing supplier invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate records.
Accounts Receivable & Credit Control: Support in raising invoices, monitoring receivables, and managing credit control to ensure smooth cash flow.
Bank Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
Marketplace Seller Account Management: Handle high-volume seller accounts, including reconciliations for online marketplaces.
Reporting: Prepare financial reports and assist in the month-end closing process.
General Accounting Support: Collaborate with the team on various accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
Key Skills:
Experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
Strong attention to detail and a love for working with numbers.
Proficiency in accounting software Xero, Zoho and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented approach.
